The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent wide receiver Hakeem Nicks to a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Nicks spent the first five seasons of his career with the New York Giants, who drafted the wide receiver in the first round of the 2009 draft, where he quickly became an integral part of the team's offense, pulling in 11 touchdowns and 79 catches in his second season.

Last year was a down season for Nicks, who failed to grab a touchdown from a struggling Eli Manning, and reeled in 56 catches as the Giants struggled to a 7-9 record.
