Report: Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston reports to camp
Pro Bowl linebacker Justin Houston has reported to Kansas City Chiefs training camp, reports Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star.
Houston skipped mini camp and the Chiefs' entire offseason program. The fourth-year pro is entering the final season of his rookie contract, which is set to pay him $1.5 million this season.
Houston has recorded 21 sacks over the last two seasons, 12th in the NFL in that span. He made the Pro Bowl in each of those years.
Houston reported a day after the Chiefs avoided a lengthy holdout from All-Pro running back Jamaal Charles by signing Charles to a new contract.
