The new make-or-break era for the Pittsburgh Steelers is officially here.

After finally signing Aaron Rodgers, who debuted his first Steelers look at minicamp yesterday, while also dropping the bombshell that the polarizing future Hall of Fame quarterback is indeed married to his secret wife Brittani, it was new star wide receiver DK Metcalf's turn to drop his official black-and-gold uniform photo.

While the two-time Pro Bowler looks fantastic in the classic NFL fit, one thing did seem odd. Metcalf is sticking with the No. 4, even though George Pickens, who had his No. 14, has been traded to the Dallas Cowboys.

At the time Metcalf landed in the Steel City, the 27-year-old former Seattle Seahawks fan favorite, who wore 14 there and at Ole Miss, said, “He’s been here, he’s made a staple in the number 14. I’m not trying to take away from anyone’s legacy."

On why he chose No. 4, there was no history to it, other than it "looked good."

Both Metcalf and Pickens, 24, have looked impressive early at their respective minicamps, dominating their peers and turning heads.

Time will tell if either the Rodgers-Metcalf or Dak Prescott-Pickens combination take the league by storm with so many question marks on true Super Bowl contention status for both historic franchises.

Until then, Metcalf sure looks good, even if it's weird to see him wearing No. 4.
