NASCAR announced sweeping updates to the NASCAR Cup Series Rule Book on Friday which includes the introduction of the 'Open Exemption Provisional'.

NASCAR has added an 'Open Exemption Provisional' -- essentially a promoter's provisional -- for the 2025 season in a sweeping update to the NASCAR Cup Series Rule Book.

Amazon's Prime Video will sponsor Chase Elliott and Hendrick Motorsports for three races in the NASCAR Cup Series for 2025.
