Bo Jackson knows a thing or two about playing two sports, becoming very successful as a running back with the Los Angeles Raiders and playing baseball with the Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox and California Angels.

Jackson had some advice for those who are thinking about playing two sports, namely Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, who was invited to participate in spring training with the Texas Rangers.

"Stick to what got [Wilson] in the headlines, not baseball," Jackson said Tuesday, via Comcast SportsNet Chicago. "Twenty-five or 30 years ago when I did it, I'm not trying to say anything negative about other athletes, but the talent pool wasn't that deep. Stick to whatever sport you're comfortable with and let everything else go."

Wilson has said that his focus is on the Seahawks, after leading Seattle to their first Super Bowl title last month. Jackson also said he would discourage his kids from playing two sports.

"If you try to do both you’re going to be riding the bench in both. You’ll never get to that level that you want to get to if you split your time between multiple sports," Jackson said.
