Rockies left fielder Carlos Gonzalez left Tuesday's game against the Phillies after fouling a ball off his leg. The injury was deemed a right calf bruise, according to MLB's official Twitter page.

He is listed as day-to-day by the team.

The injury happened when Gonzalez led off the second inning. He lined to second and then grounded out to second in the fourth before being replaced by Corey Dickerson in left field for the fifth.

The 28-year-old is hitting .267 with seven homers and 29 RBIs in 47 games this season.

The Rockies (27-24) had lost four of five going into Tuesday night's game and slipped to third place in the NL West. They were shut out on Sunday and Monday.

Colorado has a day off on Thursday.
