Throughout the so-called Steroid Era, Sports Illustrated celebrated the successes of many of baseball's top players. The same ones that ended up becoming something that no one wanted to celebrate after the revelations of just how they got there became public. Even the Baseball Hall of Fame stands divided on how to deal with suspected PED users to this day. We know we can't go back on the many covers we dedicated to those athletes, but at least we can come clean now.
