The BC Lions (6-1) and Calgary Stampeders (5-2) have both gotten off to hot starts this season. They'll face each other Saturday at McMahon Stadium. Although the teams have the second and third best records respectively in the Canadian Football League, they're in second and third place in the division standings, sitting behind the Blue Bombers in a stacked CFL West.

So far this season, these have been the two highest-scoring teams in the CFL. BC, led by MOP candidate quarterback Nathan Rourke, is averaging 36.3 points per game. Meanwhile, Calgary is at 29.4 points per game, still three points up on the next-closest team, Winnipeg.
Rourke put together another gem last week against Edmonton. He completed 34 of 37 passes for 477 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions while adding another 25 yards on five carries and a score on the ground. BC won 46-14.
For Calgary, the last game out was more of a defensive effort. The Stampeders took down the Redblacks on the road 17-3. They intercepted three passes, with Titus Wall grabbing two of those three.
