The team also struggled by turning over the ball 32 times and was called on 31 fouls causing three different players to foul out of their last game.

The Rebels have had a strong start to the season and are 2-0 after beating Pepperdine in the season opener (80-58) before moving on to Oral Roberts beating the team 100-84. Nneka Obiazor scored a career-high 27 points against Oral Roberts to lead her team to victory. The Rebels' bench accounted for 27 points in the win proving the team's depth.
The only other time these two teams played each other was last season which resulted in a 73-63 win for UNLV.
