The Salukis are currently 3-1 with their only loss coming against Southern Indiana in a 71-53 defeat. The team bounced back, however, and beat Tennessee State 57-44 the last time out. Forward Marcus Domask secured his third career double-double, his first of the season, with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Strong defense by the Salukis held the Tigers to only 17 second half points with a 10-minute scoreless stretch.

The Rebels have had a stellar start to the season and are currently 4-0. The team's most recent victory came against High Point in a 78-68 win on Friday. All five starters scored in double figures with Elijah Harkless leading the charge with 15 points. Luis Rodriguez recorded his fifth career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
Southern Illinois is 1-4 against UNLV with its lone win dating back to 1968.
