Miami (7-1) has won its last three games and on Sunday heads to the KFC Yum Center to visit Louisville (0-7) in the Atlantic Coast Conference opener for both teams. Norchad Omier is averaging a double-double for the Hurricanes at 13.9 points and 10.4 rebounds per game while Jordan Miller and Isaiah Wong each average 13.8 points per game. El Ellis is the lone double-figure scorer for the Cardinals at 16.9 points per game. Jim Larranaga is in his 12th season at Miami and is 233-142, taking the Hurricanes to the Elite Eight last season. Louisville is coached by Kenny Payne, a member of the school's 1986 NCAA championship squad who is in his first season as the Cardinals' head coach.

Miami trailed visiting Rutgers by 11 points early in the second half on Wednesday night in their ACC/Big Ten Challenge matchup before rallying for a 68-61 win. Omier's jumper with 1:22 remaining gave the Hurricanes the lead for good to start a 7-0 finishing kick. Miller finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds and Omier had 17 points and nine boards.
The night before, Louisville was pummeled at home by No. 22 Maryland in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, 79-54. Ellis scored 15 points for the Cardinals while Brandon Huntley-Hatfield added eight points, eight rebounds and three blocks.
Louisville leads the all-time series with Miami 13-6, but the Hurricanes have won the last two meetings, including a 70-63 win in Louisville on Feb. 16.
