Maryland held off then-No. 13 Michigan at the Xfinity Center in College Park on Thursday night 72-64. Miller scored 23 points to go with five steals before fouling out, Lavender Briggs scored 14 points off the bench and Meyers finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Penn State came back in the fourth quarter and forced overtime at Rutgers on Thursday night when Johnasia Cash scored with 20 seconds left. But the Scarlet Knights scored the final six points in OT for an 86-82 victory. Marisa had 24 points and Alexa Williamson added 13 points and nine rebounds.
The Terrapins lead the all-time series with the Nittany Lions 20-14, with 12 consecutive wins since Maryland joined the Big Ten for the 2014-15 season. Last year, the Terps won at home 106-78 and took an 82-71 victory at Penn State.
