That was the only game between the teams this season setting the stage for another Cyclones upset of a ranked opponent heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Considering how the first game went, that will be easier said than done for the Cyclones. In the first game the Longhorns ran away with an 81-60 win fueled by a 23-10 final period to close out the game.
Freshman Madison Booker (18 points and 10 assists) and Shaylee Gonzales (18 points) led the Longhorns in scoring. Shay Holle (16 points and six assists) and Aaliyah Moore (12 points and seven rebounds) also scored in double figures, while Taylor Jones controlled the paint with 13 rebounds.
For the Cyclones, the only consistent offense came from Audi Crooks, who led all scorers with 24 points. She went 10-of-19 from the field and 4-of-6 from the free throw line in an effort to keep her team in the game for the better part of three periods. They will need to play more like they have over the last six games to pull off the upset today.
