How to Watch Vermont at Providence in Women's College Hockey: Stream Live, TV Channel

No. 11 Vermont and No. 13 Providence play their third game in a row when they meet on Friday night.

Coming into the weekend, No. 11 Vermont (15-7-1, 10-5-1 Hockey East) and No. 13 Providence (16-7-1, 11-5-1 Hockey East) are in second and third place respectively in the Hockey East standings. The two teams have become familiar with each other, having played a double-header in Burlington last weekend. On Friday night they'll play their third game in a row and final meeting of the regular season, as it's now time for the Catamounts to visit the Friars at Schneider Arena. Vermont swept both games last weekend and has a chance to really distance itself from Providence, with the Friars looking to avoid a season sweep.

In the first of the two games last weekend, Vermont came away with a 2-0 win. Freshman forward Lara Beecher scored both goals for Vermont in that game - her first career multi-goal game - and junior goalie Jessie McPherson made 16 saves to earn her second shutout of the year.

The next night, Vermont won 4-1. Beecher scored again, joined by Lilly Holmes, Corinne McCool, and Natalie Mlynkova. Three of those goals came in the first period, as Vermont was able to play comfortably for most of the night.
