During this three match winning streak the Badgers took down Northwestern (30-12), Purdue (24-15) and Illinois (20-18) showcasing they are one of the best teams not ranked in the Top 25 at this point in the season.

Their only losses have come to 11th ranked Iowa State (42-0), seventh ranked Ohio State (27-15), Michigan State (22-15) and Nebraska (28-9). Now they have three total matches remaining on the schedule in the regular season with the Golden Gophers up next, followed by fourth ranked Iowa and 17th ranked Northern Iowa heading into the tournament season.
