CBS is one of the largest broadcasting networks in the country. Previously known by the name Columbia Broadcasting System, CBS launched as a radio broadcaster in 1927 and was later one of the first television networks. The network aired many of the most popular programs ever and currently broadcasts a variety of sports and entertainment programs. On the sports front, CBS has broadcast rights to the NFL, the PGA Tour, college basketball and college football. Current dramas that air on CBS include three shows in the NCIS franchise–NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: Hawai'i. The network also airs three FBI series: the eponymous original, plus FBI: Most Wanted and FBI: International. In 2021, the show rebooted the CSI franchise with CSI: Vegas.
