Kitchen Nightmares is back after a 10-year hiatus for an eighth season premiere at 8 pm ET. Chef Gordon Ramsay said about the return of the show: “I launched ‘Kitchen Nightmares’ with Fox in 2007, and then we had seven amazing seasons, and so, to bring it back after a hiatus of 10 years, it’s one of the most popular demanded return shows on the planet. We don’t have many shows on Fox, so, I thought “Kitchen Nightmares” may be a nice edition, but all jokes apart, I think the devastation of what’s gone on in the industry over the last three years has been horrific, so there’s never been a more perfect time for ‘Kitchen Nightmares.'”

The new season shows how Chef Gordon Ramsay hits the road in search of restaurants in crisis, where he steps in and addresses some of the most stressful aspects of running a successful food business. Ramsay and his team redecorate each eatery to give it a fresh look in the hope of attracting a larger crowd. Ramsay's ultimate goal is to make the restaurants he visits profitable for their struggling owners.
It should be another interesting season with Ramsey and how he can turn around restaurants. Tune in on Monday for the first episode and then come back each week to see what antics Ramsey comes up with.
