There are only three full-field events remaining on the LPGA Tour after this weekend's Walmart NW Arkansas Championship at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas. The top 60 in the standings head to the CME Group Tour Championship, but the players sitting between 85th and 110th have a lot to play for over the next month. Where those players finish could be the difference between an exemption for next season or a trip to the Q Series this winter. Six players held a share of the lead after Friday's first round, with the second round set to tee off on Saturday morning.

The highest-ranked player among the co-leaders is Megan Khang, who is No. 20 on the Race to the CME Globe standings. Jeongeun Lee5 came to Pinnacle ranked 103rd while Lauren Coughlin is in 94th place. The other co-leaders — Yuka Saso, Ryann O'Toole and Sei Young Kim — all carded seven-under-par 64s on Friday, with Vivian Hu and Lilla Vu are tied for seventh, one shot back.
Pinnacle Country Club plays at par-71 and 6.438 yards for the tournament. Last year, Nasa Hataoka won at Pinnacle for the second time in her career, finishing with a 16-under 197, one shot clear of Eun-Hee Ji and Minjee Lee. Hataoka is in a group tied for 32nd at three-under after one round.
Players are competing for a $2.3 million purse and a total of 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe.
