Third-ranked Lydia Ko has made her move in the third round to put herself just one stroke back of the lead entering today’s final round:
Ko is seeking her second win of the season and to close the gap between her and second place Brooke Henderson and first place Minjee Lee. A win here today would go a long way to pushing Ko closer to first place in the season standings.
Through three rounds she has 15 birdies, three bogeys and a double-bogey on her card. The first round saw that double-bogey, which is the difference between her being tied for the lead or in the lead entering today.
A win for Lin would fault her into the Top 10 into seventh place, Hull would move up to 20th place and Boutier would slide up a slot into ninth place overall.
