Toledo finished off its last home stand in dramatic fashion, getting a 8-7 walk-off win against the Columbus Clippers. The Mud Hens were down three runs at one point, but were able to win on a wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth. They beat the Clippers in five of the seven games of that series and secured eight straight series victories going back to August.
The Cubs also finished their last series on a high note, beating the Omaha Storm Chasers 9-4. It was definitely a game highlighted by potent offenses The win was enough to break up back-to-back losses and earn the series victory against Omaha.
