The Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels start their final series of the season on Friday night, an exciting MLB matchup on the west coast.

The Seattle Mariners will try to extend their six-game road winning streak in the opener of this four-game series against the Los Angeles Angels. Los Angeles, meanwhile, will look to snap a four-game losing streak in this last series against the Mariners of the season. This is a huge matchup as far as playoff seeding for the Mariners as the Angels, while out of postseason contention but loaded with talents such as Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, will look to play spoiler against their west coast MLB rival. This will be a matchup you won't want to miss if you are a fan of baseball.

The Angels are coming off a sweep against the Cleveland Guardians, who are battling to keep their AL Central lead alive. 

Los Angeles fell 5-3 in its last game. Jose Ramirez hit a two-run homer in the eighth to break the tie and the Angels couldn't score in the ninth. It was Cleveland's sixth straight win at the time. 

The Mariners are coming off a two-game series split against the San Diego Padres. Julio Rodriguez, easily the best AL rookie this year, hit his fourth leadoff homer of the season as part of the 6-1 win. Two other Mariners hit homers to secure the win. Rodriguez also got his 25th stolen base of the season.
