The Pittsburgh Pirates travel to play the New York Yankees in the first game of a three-game set on Tuesday.

The New York Yankees host the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night in the opener of a three-game series. The Yankees are back home after losing two of three to the Brewers over the weekend. They dropped the first two, but were able to salvage the finale 12-8 with Aaron Judge hitting his 58th and 59th home runs.

All eyes will be on Judge—who has been the main reason the Yankees are at the top of the American League East—as he chases Roger Maris' American League record 61 home runs.

Judge and the Yankees currently lead the Blue Jays by 5.5 games in the division and will be looking to put some more distance between them with a win on Tuesday.

The Pirates, though, will be looking to play spoiler this week and pull off a couple of upsets. They have been eliminated from playoff contention but are still looking to build some momentum heading into next year.

They don't have a lot to play for the rest of the year, but can put a dent in the Yankees lead with a win on Tuesday.

Regional restrictions may apply.
