How to Watch Blue Jays at Cardinals: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel
As opening day continues, there's an interleague matchup on the Mississippi River with the Toronto Blue Jays visiting the St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals are preparing to defend their 12th National League Central title in franchise history, and looking to get back to the playoffs for a fifth consecutive season. Highlighting the Cards' lineup is first baseman Paul Goldschmidt, who is the reigning NL MVP, as well as a Silver Slugger and winner of the Hank Aaron award. In 2022, Goldschmidt slashed .317/.404/.578 with 35 home runs and 115 RBIs for the Cards - and he'll look to replicate that performance as he enters his age-35 season.

The Blue Jays finished second in the American League East last year and earned a wild-card bid, but lost to the Seattle Mariners in the wild-card round of the playoffs. They still have one of the best young cores in baseball, led by Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Bo Bichette, and Cavan Biggio.
For the opening day pitching matchup, Alek Manoah will get the ball for the Blue Jays against Miles Mikolas for the Cardinals. Adam Wainwright was originally scheduled to start for the Cards but went on the IL due to a groin strain.
