The last two games have put the club over .500. The good news for the Reds is that they are still in first in the NL Central but it is only by a half-game.

The Reds got off to a hot start on Wednesday night, scoring the first three runs of the game through two innings. Joey Votto homered to increase the Reds' lead to 5-2 in the fourth. But the Cubs scored in every inning after the second. Ian Happ hit two homers that totaled well over 800 feet to lead the Cubs in the offensive barrage. The Cubs' run has had a lot to do with Cody Bellinger catching fire.
Cincinnati will try to reel in the offensive onslaught of the last two games by starting Luke Weaver. The righty is 2-3 with a 6.80 ERA. Chicago will try to take one step closer in the division when it starts Jameson Taillon. The righty is 5-6 with a 5.46 ERA. This feels like we're going to have another high-scoring game for the third time in a row.
