Jesse Love continued his dominance of the ARCA Menards Series on Sunday at the Southern Illinois 100 with his ninth victory in 16 starts this season and returns to a track where he won earlier this season for Friday night's Sioux Chief Fast Track 150 at Kansas Speedway. Love is 129 points ahead of Andrés Pérez de Lara and 150 points clear of Frankie Muniz in the season standings. He has spent most of the season in front of the field, leading 1,029 laps, more than double that of the next closest driver on the list, William Sawalich, who has led for 430.

Kansas Speedway is a 1.5-mile tri-oval that has hosted ARCA Menards Series racing since it opened in 2001. The second race was added to the schedule in 2020.
At the Kansas track in May, Love led for 96 of 100 laps en route to taking the checkered flag 0.176 seconds ahead of Dean Thompson in the Dawn 150. Local driver Mandy Chick finished 12th in May and will be back for Friday's race. She lives about 20 minutes from Kansas Speedway in nearby DeSoto.
Love is still hoping to catch on with a NASCAR series team next season. Last year's series champion, Nicholas Sanchez, rode his success into a full-time ride on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and qualified for a playoff spot as a rookie.
