The Capital City Go-Go (8-4) are off to a solid start in the NBA G League regular season but lost a couple of players to the parent Wizards in the wake of the Rui Hachimura trade on Monday. On Wednesday, the Go-Go hosts the Windy City Bulls (4-7) after Washington recalled center Vernon Carey Jr. and guard Johnny Davis. Carey is the top scorer for Capital City at 22.5 points per game and also averages 9.6 rebounds. In his stead, Jordan Schakel is the top weapon at 14.4 points per night while veteran Kris Dunn gets 13.8 points and 5.8 assists per game. Carlik Jones is the top scorer for the Bulls at 20.3 points per game and also gets 7.2 assists per outing and Marko Simonovic, on assignment from the parent club, is averaging 13.2 points and 9.8 rebounds.

The Go-Go is coming off a loss at the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Charge on Sunday. Jordan Goodwin scored 20 points in the 111-107 loss, in which Capital City cut a 17-point deficit to two before the Charge iced the game at the foul line. Trevion Williams added 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Windy City came back from a 10-point deficit for a 112-105 win at Greensboro on Saturday. Javon Freeman-Liberty poured in 37 points, hitting seven-of-10 from three-point range, while Ethan Thompson added 29.
This will be the first matchup between the Bulls and Go-Go this season. The Bulls reached the championship game of the G League Showcase Cup in December before losing to the Ontario Clippers 99-97.
