The Magic never trailed on Sunday afternoon in a 119-95 rout of the Go-Go as Lakeland shot 63.5% overall and hit 14-of-32 (43.8%) from 3-point range. Neither team took very good care of the ball, as Capital City committed 21 turnovers to the Magic's 23.
Robert Baker scored 24 points and three blocks for Lakeland, Caleb Houstan and Aleem Ford each scored 17 and Simpson notched 14 points, 11 assists and four steals.
Trevion Williams notched 22 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Go-Go, Jules Bernard had 14 points and seven steals and Davion Mintz scored 13 points.
