For the second straight day, the Austin Spurs (5-6) and the Texas Legends (4-8) take the court in the NBA G League. In the first game, Austin picked up a big win to keep pace with the rest of the teams in the South League. In the win, Austin was led by frequent San Antonio Spurs rotation player Sandro Mamukelashvili who dominated the game. The big man finished with 43 points and 22 rebounds. He also added four assists and two blocks in the win. Austin took care of business in the first and third quarters and then held on down the stretch for the win.

Blake Wesley added in 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting in a very efficient scoring game for the second-year guard. He also went three-for-five from three and four-for-six from the free-throw line in the big scoring night.
With Mamukelashvili controlling the glass and Wesley scoring with efficiency, Dominick Barlow added 26 points. Those three all finished with 25-plus points in the win putting the pressure on Texas all game.
On the other side for Texas, it was led by Dexter Dennis with 31 points and five rebounds on 5-9 shooting from three. Four others finished with double-figures including Jordan Walker who put up 26 points and dished out nine assists in the loss. If today’s game is anything like yesterday it will be must-watch basketball today.
