The 76ers won't have reigning MVP Joel Embiid, out with a sprained right ankle, while Nicolas Batum is also sidelined with a strained right hamstring. Orlando picked up a couple of new injuries on Tuesday night, with Gary Harris questionable with a strained right calf and Jonathan Isaac also questionable due to a sore right hamstring. Joe Ingles, out since Dec. 15 with a sprained left ankle, could return on Wednesday as he's been upgraded to questionable.

The Magic held off the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night to close their road trip with a 127-119 victory. Franz Wagner finished with 28 points, nine assists and eight rebounds, Anthony Black scored a career-high 23 points and Paolo Banchero added 24 points and eight dimes. Banchero leads the club with averages of 21.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists, while Wagner scores 20.5 points per game.
Philadelphia rallied from a 21-point deficit to briefly lead early in the fourth quarter before the Miami Heat put the game away late in a 119-113 loss. Tobias Harris scored 27 points and Kelly Oubre Jr. added 25. With Embiid out, Tyrese Maxey is the top scorer at 25.9 PPG and also gets 6.7 assists a night. Harris is Philadelphia's top rebounder at 6.1 per game with Embiid sidelined
Friday's game is the first of three meetings between the Sixers at Orlando this season. They will play again at the Kia Center on Jan. 19 before playing in Philadelphia on April 12.
