Which young stars from these teams will stand out in Summer League play?

Once the Memphis Grizzlies (1-2) graduated Desmond Bane and Xavier Tillman Sr. from Summer League, it left a giant void. Who is going to step up? The Chicago Bulls (1-2) have budding star Patrick Williams on their side.

Bane was a revelation for the Grizzlies last season and came out like a house on fire in Summer League, scoring 48 points in two games on 9-for-13 from three.

The brunt of the scoring and creation will be on rookies Ziaire Williams (No. 10, Stanford) and Santi Aldama (No. 30, Loyola). In the Grizzlies' last outing, a 15-point loss to the Sacramento Kings, the two combined for 16 points, 20 rebounds and 3 assists on 6-for-28 shooting (0-for-11 from three). Can they rebound from that defeat?

Williams has had a breakout summer showing more than just the raw athleticism and defensive potential. He is attacking, shooting and scoring at a high level. He is not going to have as many of these opportunities throughout the NBA season, but these flashes show the team he will be ready when called upon.

His 21 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game on 38-44-80 splits have to make every fan in the Windy City beyond excited.
