For most NFL fans, watching Thursday Night Football won't be as simple as just flipping on the TV.

Thursday Night Football can be watched locally by fans of the two teams competing, but out-of-market fans will have to turn to the streaming service Amazon Prime. The Sept. 15 matchup is the first of 15 games that will be carried exclusively by the streaming network.

"Chargers-Chiefs is a classic AFC West rivalry featuring two of the most exciting young QBs in the game today. With the electric atmosphere at Arrowhead, there’s no better setting for the first exclusive Thursday Night Football telecast on Prime Video." Marie Donoghue, Amazon's vice president of Global Sports Video, said in a press release.

Prime Video’s 11-year deal "gives Prime members exclusive access to the most popular sport in the United States," Marie Donoghue, Amazon's vice president of Global Sports Video, said in a press release. The NFL deal includes 15 regular-season games and one preseason game per year, with Prime Video also delivering new pregame, halftime and postgame shows. To watch, viewers can stream at amazon.com or use the Prime Video app, which is available on smartphones, tablets, game consoles and other devices. Each Thursday Night Football game will also stream live on Twitch, which is a subsidiary of Amazon.

Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will be in the booth for the Prime broadcasts. The pregame, postgame and halftime shows will be hosted by broadcaster Charissa Thompson alongside ex-NFL players Tony Gonzalez, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Richard Sherman.

With Michaels and Herbstreit taking over Thursday Night Football's main broadcast, the history-making duo Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm will be pushed to an alternate broadcast. The first and only all-women booth in the NFL will make two appearances this season.

Each game will air at 8:15 p.m. ET., with the exception of Week 12 (Thanksgiving Day), which will air on NBC. The full Thursday Night Football schedule is below:
