On the first of a Monday Night Football doubleheader, the Tennessee Titans will go on the road to take on the Super Bowl favorites, the Buffalo Bills. The Titans lost their Week 1 game 21-20 after allowing the Giants to come back and score in the waiting moments of the fourth quarter. Despite the loss, Ryan Tannehill had a good game with 266 yards and two touchdowns. Derrick Henry only averaged 3.9 yards per carry totaling 82 yards on 21 rushing attempts. Henry also didn't find the endzone. Rookie Kyle Phillips ended up leading the team in receiving yards with six receptions for 66 yards, surprising over newcomer Robert Woods and rookie Treylon Burks.

The Bills dominated in their Week 1 game against the reigning Super Bowl champion Rams 31-10. Despite throwing two interceptions, Josh Allen finished with 297 yards and three touchdowns through the air.
Allen added 56 yards on 10 rushes to lead the team in rushing with a touchdown on the ground. Stefon Diggs once again was Allen's favorite target pulling in eight receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown.
