The biggest sporting event of the year is just a few days away and you can watch it for free on Fubo. Super Bowl LVIII will be played for the first time ever in Las Vegas. Kick-off is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday on CBS between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. If the Chiefs are able to come out with the victory they will be the first repeat Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots in Super Bowls XXXVIII and XXXIX.

The path to the Super Bowl has been quite different for the two teams. For the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era the Chiefs had to play a road game to get to the Super Bowl. The Chiefs had to go on the road and beat the Bills and Ravens. In the Wild Card round the Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins at home in sub-zero temperatures.

The Chiefs finished the 2023 season with an 11–6 record, their 11th consecutive winning season and eighth consecutive AFC West title under head coach Andy Reid. During this run most of the talk has centered around Mahomes, but this season it's been more about the defense.

Meanwhile, the 49ers have made it to the Super Bowl on the back of a fantastic and well balanced offense. Second-year quarterback Brock Purdy has managed to come up big during the playoffs and has plenty of targets. At his disposal are Deebo Samuel, George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk.

San Francisco came into the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the NFC. In the Divisional Round, the 49ers hosted the Green Bay Packers. Although the Packers took a 21–14 lead heading into the fourth quarter, the 49ers rallied to win the game 24–21. This allowed the 49ers to advance to their third straight NFC Championship Game and their fourth in the last five seasons. The 49ers then hosted the underdog Detroit Lions. The 49ers fell behind quickly, trailing 24–7 at halftime. However, San Francisco scored 27 straight points to take a 34–24 lead late in the fourth quarter and eventually won 34–31.

Not only do fans get the entertainment of the game, but the halftime performance should be a great one. After a Vegas residency, Usher will be the Super Bowl halftime performer. A singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and entrepreneur with over 75 million records sold worldwide and eight Grammy Awards, he has been atop the charts for the last three decades.

With boyfriend Travis Kelce playing tight end for the Chiefs, Taylor Swift is expected to be in attendance, much like she has been throughout the regular season and postseason. That will bring an extra energy to the game and more eyes should be on screens because of it. Many have begun to call it the "Swiftie Bowl."

The Super Bowl can also be watched for free in 4k, Spanish and on Nickelodeon, which will have the game announced by SpongeBob SquarePants.

Regional restrictions may apply.
