How to Watch Oilers at Kraken: Stream NHL Live, TV Channel

The Edmonton Oilers head to Seattle on Monday to take on the Kraken in their second preseason game of the year.

The Seattle Kraken open their preseason schedule on Monday night when they host the Edmonton Oilers. The Kraken are beginning their second year in the NHL and are looking for better results after they went just 27-49-6 in their inaugural season.

The excitement was high in Seattle as the fans welcomed their first NHL team to the city, but the team just didn't have enough to compete in the Western Conference last year. The players are hoping a year in the system can get them off to a better start and Monday that begins with their first preseason game.

The Oilers got a first period goal from Markus Niemelainen and then goals by James Hamblin, Ryan McLeod and Dylan Holloway in a four-minute stretch in the third period to put the game away.

It was a good first preseason game for the Oilers and one they will look to continue on Monday night.
