The Los Angeles Kings head to Las Vegas on Monday night looking to get their first preseason win as they take on the Golden Knights.

The Los Angeles Kings battle the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday night as both teams play their second preseason game of the season. The Kings dropped their opener 3-2 in overtime to the Sharks. The Kings got a goal by Black Lizotte at 17:25 in the third period to send the game into overtime, but gave up a goal to take the loss in their preseason opener. Carl Grundstrom also scored for the Kings in the loss. Monday they will look to bounce back and get a win against a Golden Knights team that also lost their first game of the preseason.

The Golden Knights opened up their preseason on Sunday against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche.

Vegas got a power play goal from Paul Cotter in the first period and went into the the third period up 1-0. Unfortunately, the Golden Knights would give up three goals in the third period and went home with a 3-1 loss.

Monday they will look to improve their defense and get their first win of the preseason.
