The team suffered an unfortunate 5-2 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night to drop below the Rangers in the standings. The Blue Jackets scored three goals before the Flyers could get on the board with a goal from Anthony Deangelo. Ivan Provorov brought the game within one, but that's as close as they would come as Columbus put in two more unanswered goals to snag the win.
Both teams will look to bounce back from their losses and pick up a win Saturday afternoon.
