The road to the championship playoffs continues as the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series shifts to Concord North Carolina. The qualifying rounds will happen today at the zMAX Dragway for the Betway NHRA Carolina Nationals. This is the second of six events in the Countdown to the Championship portion of the season. This is also the second time this track has been used this season but only two of the four lanes will be available for this event.

The winners of the 2021 event include Josh Hart for Top Fuel, Kyle Koretsky for Funny Car and Pro Stock went to Angelle Sampey. Last week, Robert Hight won in the Funny Car and Erica Enders won in the Pro Stock category. Those victories helped pad their leads making them favorites coming into this last weekend of the month. Who will climb their way up the standings today in qualifying?
