UNC Takes On Virginia in Key ACC Clash

Plus, Stephen Curry returns from injury for the Warriors against the Suns.

The college football season is officially in the rearview mirror as Georgia romped its way to a second straight championship in a blowout victory over TCU. It’s a long wait until next season, but don’t fear: the sports schedule isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Tonight, look forward to a busy slate in college hoops, plus Donovan Mitchell’s return to Utah and Stephen Curry coming back from injury to take on the Suns.

Here’s what I’m watching today.

Men’s CBB: North Carolina at No. 13 Virginia

It’s a huge showdown in the ACC between two of the conference’s top contenders. Preseason No. 1 North Carolina has disappointed this season, becoming the fastest preseason No. 1 to reach five losses in the last 40 seasons after dropping a game to Pittsburgh in late December. But the Heels have won two straight and have all the star power from last year’s run to the national championship game to try to turn things around. Perhaps their top competition in the ACC is Virginia, which has dropped in the polls after climbing to No. 2 last month.
