Both Stanford and Arizona are looking for their first win of Pac-12 play when they meet tonight for a women's college soccer match.

Stanford is on the road on Thursday night for a game against Arizona in women's college soccer. While the Cardinal's overall record of 7-2-1 is strong, the team is 0-1 in conference play. In their conference opener, the Cardinal lost a 2-1 game to USC. Freshman Lumi Kostmayer put the Cardinal on the board first with a goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately for them, the lead was fairly short-lived as USC snuck a goal in during the 36th minute. A second-half goal secured the win for USC. Collectively, the Cardinal put up 18 shots and even though 10 of them ended up on goal, the team came up short.

The Wildcats have had a less than ideal start to the season with an overall record of 3-3-2 and a conference record of 0-1. Arizona lost its conference opener to Utah on Friday by a score of 2-1. Gianna Christiansen scored the Wildcats' loan goal, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Utes. 

Last year, Stanford beat the Wildcats by a score of 4-0 and the same is expected this season from the No. 19 Cardinal.
