How to Watch Galaxy at Dynamo: Stream MLS Live, TV Channel
The LA Galaxy (13-12-8) are safely in the Western Conference playoff field entering Sunday's MLS regular season finale at the Houston Dynamo (10-17-6). But the Galaxy still have work to do in order to host a first-round match next week, as they enter play with 47 points, the same total as Nashville SC.
The Dynamo, meanwhile, are long since eliminated from playoff contention, as they take the pitch for the final time this season. This is LA's first trip to the postseason since 2016, while Houston is out of the postseason for the the 11th straight season. The Dynamo haven't made a playoff appearance since losing to the Galaxy for the MLS Cup in 2011.

The Galaxy can lock up a home game next week with a win, a tie and a Nashville loss or if both sides tie or lose. LA is unbeaten in its last three matches, playing to a 1-1 draw against Real Salt Lake at home last week. Douglas Costa de Souza scored the equalizer on a penalty in the 68th minute to get the Galaxy a point on Oct. 1.
Houston has won two of its last three matches, including a 2-1 victory at Nashville SC on Oct. 2. Sebastián Ferreira's brace in the first half gave the Dynamo a 2-0 lead and they held on for the victory. But Houston will be without defender Teenage Hadebe, who picked up a red card in extra time and will serve a suspension on Sunday.
LA leads the all-time series with Houston 15-13-10, but lost 3-0 at home on May 22.
