The 2022 FIFA World Cup gets underway on Nov. 20, with host nation Qatar taking on Ecuador. But for fans of Argentina, you'll have to wait a couple of days to see the team in action, as it begins the group stage on Tuesday against Saudi Arabia. Argentina is playing in Group C of the World Cup, along with Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia. The top two teams at the conclusion of the round-robin stage will advance to the knockout round. Heading into the tournament, Argentina is the overwhelming favorite to advance out of this group.

The schedule for Argentina in the group stage looks like this:

Nov. 22: Argentina vs Saudi Arabia - 5:00 a.m. ET - FOX Sports 1

Nov. 26: Argentina vs Mexico - 2:00 p.m. ET - FOX Sports 1

Nov. 29: Argentina vs Poland - 2:00 p.m. ET - FOX/FS1

Argentina got a favorable draw for this year's tournament. Ranked third in FIFA's October 2022 rankings, Argentina is the only top 10 team in the group. Mexico is ranked 13th, while Poland is 26th and Saudi Arabia is 51st. That should allow Argentina to advance out of the group stage, some its done in the last three World Cups.
