How to Watch Marseille vs Nice: Stream Ligue 1 Live, TV Channel

Marseille is unbeaten in 10 games as it looks to extend an unblemished Ligue 1 streak at home to ever-improving Nice

A slip-up from Lens saw Marseille steal into second in Ligue 1’s title race during the week, but Les Olympiens will now face the same team that forced that error when they host Nice on Sunday. Igor Tudor’s side has enjoyed arguably one of the best January transfers windows in Europe and can afford to dream of challenging Paris Saint-Germain for the crown in the second half of the campaign. The task of ending Nice’s four-match unbeaten run may not be all that straightforward, however, as interim manager Didier Digard continues to impress since he took over the Eaglets last month.

Two of France’s form teams will collide at the Stade Orange Velodrome in what promises to be a mouthwatering contest, with one of the best offenses in France set to be tested by an increasingly inhospitable Nice defense.

Lucien Favre was dismissed from the Allianz Riviera in early January after Nice kept just one clean sheet from their last nine outings under the Swiss tactician. However, that burgeoning back line is already drastically improved under Digard, conceding just once in the four games under his care and keeping clean sheets in three of those.

It’s been 14 games since Marseille has failed to find the back of the net, however, and the winter additions of Ruslan Malinovskyi (loan from Atalanta), Azzedine Ounahi ($15 million from Angers) and Vitinha ($40m from Braga) only promise to aid further in the attack.

Morocco’s Ounahi in particular has already hit the ground running at his new club and found the back of the net with a sensational finish in his debut for his new employers:

Nice hasn’t notched a win at the Velodrome since November 2015, but it’s difficult to doubt the club’s potential now that Digard appears to have the players’ confidence.

Tudor’s team will hope to break that confidence by handing Sunday’s guests their maiden loss under the interim boss, with PSG entering Week 22 say just five points ahead.

Regional restrictions may apply.
