Week 6 college football picks: Washington-Oregon, Alabama-Arkansas, more

Week 6 in college football features a number of intriguing matchups, including Tennessee-Texas A&M, Alabama-Arkansas, Washington-Oregon and Texas-Oklahoma.

It’s about that time of the season when teams are beginning to reveal how good they really are. With so many blowouts in the non-conference portion of the schedule, it was difficult to get an idea of how squads compare with one another. Now, however, we’re into the heart of conference play, which means more matchups between teams of similar quality. This weekend lacks the sizzle of Week 5 (which featured three games between top-10 teams), but there are a host of intriguing tilts you should monitor. Will Texas take some heat off coach Charlie Strong by beating Oklahoma? Can Alabama survive a daunting trip to Arkansas? Will Miami notch its biggest win yet under new coach Mark Richt? Will Washington snap a 12-game losing streak to a division rival? A panel of Sports Illustrated writers and editors (Andy Staples, Pete Thamel, Lindsay Schnell, Brian Hamilton, Joan Niesen, Colin Becht and Gabriel Baumgaertner) made its picks for every big game.

Which teams can go undefeated in 2016?
