Bulls Fan Anticipates Rose's Return with Thematically Inappropriate Star Trek Mashup

Now that Derrick Rose has announced his intent to (finally) return next season from the ACL injury that sidelined him for over a year, Bulls fans are understandably excited. One of them, YouTube user Eddie Escamilla, is so excited that he created and recently posted this popular Star Trek Into Darkness-themed mashup:

Yet while it looks cool, the subtext is curious. That voiceover you hear is the menacing baritone of Benedict Cumberbatch as Khan, the villain. And while his message about vengeance is appropriate and sportsy and gets you hyped, Khan also winds up (SPOILER ALERT) getting captured and cryogenically frozen by Captain Kirk and his crew, ensuring that he is never again a threat.
