College Football #11 Florida State vs. Pittsburgh, 8:00p.m. (ESPN)
In the past, the folks at Florida State have been known for practicing the wrong kind of charity, the type that violates NCAA rules. Today, however, the Seminoles are giving in the right way. Head coach Jimbo Fisher has used his 8-year-old son's diagnosis with Fanconi anemia to rally the FSU faithful to fight the deadly blood disorder.

Serena Williams ensured victory in her match against Sloane Stephens yesterday by showing her opponent how she would bludgeon the court umpire were she to be defeated.
High School Football
Godby (FL) vs. Dematha (MD), 3:00p.m (ESPN3)
Luis Collazo vs. Alan Sanchez, 9:00p.m. (Fox Sports 1)
This is a classic example of the veteran fighter, maybe a touch past his prime, taking on a young up-and-comer looking to make a name for himself. The 32-year-old Collazo has nearly a decade's worth of experience over his opponent. Perhaps he'll confound Sanchez with hard-to-believe tales about cassette tapes and dial-up internet.
Breaking Ground with Ronda Rousey, 8:00p.m. (Fox Sports 1)
It's fitting that the week after ESPN finished its Nine for IX series, Fox Sports premieres this documentary about a woman making her name in the most masculine of sports. Rousey is a fascinating figure because of her stunning looks juxtaposed against the eternal appeal of snapping other people's arms in half.

AVP Tour in Cincinnati, 6:00p.m (CBS Sports & AVP.com)
I used to play volleyball with friends at East Beach in Santa Barbara, CA. Every now and then, Olympic gold medalists Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers would be on the court next to mine. You don't know humility until you stand 10 feet from the best volleyball player in the world as you get excited about finally being able to touch the top of the net on a block attempt.
