Redskins Alum Dave Butz Faced Off Against a Peanut Butter Burger on SI's Tailgate Tour
When former Purdue star Dave Butz won Super Bowl XXII as a member of the Redskins, he reportedly yelled out to the crowd, "We came, we saw, we kicked their butz." On the second stop of SI's Tailgate Tour, at his alma mater Purdue, Butz could make no similar pronouncement, as he lost a burger cooking contest to Greg Ehresman, owner of West Lafayette’s Triple XXX Family Restaurant. Butz, a tailgate traditionalist, scoffed at Ehresman's secret ingredient, peanut butter, but 3 out of 5 judges disagreed.
