It Took Santonio Holmes Three Days to Realize Jets Had Been Eliminated

Besides being a boon to fantasy players everywhere, the Ravens' Justin Tucker's 61-yard field goal against Detroit also officially eliminated the Jets from playoff contention. Don't tell that to Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes, though:
Santonio Holmes didn’t know that the Ravens’ win meant that the Jets’ playoff dream was dead until Wednesday morning.
And he didn’t seem to be too upset about it, either.
“It didn’t bother me,” the 29-year-old said. “They did what they had to do, and we didn’t.”
In his defense, Holmes didn't have Tucker on his fantasy team.
