After making his game-ending deflection, Richard Sherman did a lot of things, but only one got him an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty: flashing the "choke" sign toward the 49ers. And despite his apparent obsession with Michael Crabtree, Sherman did not intend the gesture for the "mediocre" receiver.

In fact, as discovered by Aaron Campeau, the gesture may have been intended for Colin Kaepernick, a reference to the QB's Beats by Dre ad in which a Seattle fan gives him the same gesture.

It's not too far-fetched, considering Sherman just came out with a Beats ad of his own:
