Mets fans everywhere recall Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS with sadness, but ESPN New York's Adam Rubin has given them a glimpse into an alternate world where Endy Chavez's amazing catch was enough to send the Mets to the World Series.

Unfortunately for Mets fans, Yadier Molina's 2-run homer in the 8th inning coupled with Adam Wainwright's physics-defying curveball ended New York's championship hopes, and started years of blaming Carlos Beltran. [@AdamRubin]
