Switzerland won the bronze medal in women's hockey on Thursday, with Jessica Lutz, a Washington, D.C. barista, scoring the go-ahead goal in the third period of the Swiss' 4-3 victory over Sweden.

Lutz played in a professional league in Switzerland for three years before moving back to the U.S. She found out she made the final roster for the Swiss team just last month.

The former University of Connecticut star spoke with the Washington Postafter the Swiss victory, saying that she intends on wearing her medal to work when she returns to the United States
